DETROIT ACE (Arts, Culture and Entrepreneurship) is surveying the city’s creatives to gauge interest in live/work spaces with Artspace, a nonprofit arts organization specializing in creating, owning, and operating affordable spaces for artists and creative businesses. They’ve asked us to share this information with our community. During Black History Month, Design Studio 6 will partner in “Sacred Spaces,” a multi-venue gallery tour celebrating Detroit’s Black-owned and operated arts and cultural spaces. Design Studio 6 will celebrate the legacy of artist Charles McGee, exhibiting his art collections, memorabilia and artifacts, and local artists’ art inspired by McGee’s life and work.  Artists who would like to participate by submitting work by January 22, 2023 should contact Marta Carval at (313) 949-7389 or martauca@gmx.es
